Vera's First Swim

Today was beautiful (despite the torrential downpour and wall shaking thunderstorms last night) so we decided today was a great day to take Vera to the pool!  She just got a brand new swim suit from Grandma Robin, so we got all dressed up, accessorized with a SUPER cute hat, slathered the SPF 50 all over her sweet little skin, and headed over to Miss Amanda's swimming pool (since we don't have access to one anymore).

She wanted to love the water, but you could tell she was so cold!  She didn't even cry!  There was some panic when she touched the cold water, but she wasn't upset!

She started to enjoy it after a few minutes.  Marvin was able to get her to lay back a little bit and enjoy the water!  She was only in the pool about 5 minutes because it was so cold, but I think she had fun!  I think she will be our little water baby!
